Great runs off lift favorites Sundog buckeye George Anna and powder monkey
Awesome on a pow day. Some good tree runs along with a great bowl. However, the main bowl gets tracked out within a few days of the most recent snow. Fast lift! Only takes about 4-5 minutes!
I really enjoy McConkey's lift at Park City Mountain resort. It leads to some really good runs, from blue to double black diamond. The lift lines aren't typically that busy, either. The real killer app, though, is the view that you have at the top of the lift. The lift let's you off at the top of the ridge, allowing you an almost 360 degree view of the surrounding area. On the other side of the ridge is Deer Valley. On days when it isn't cloudy, you can see forever. It would also be a great place for group photos, as evidenced by everyone taking group photos up there at any given time. 5 out of 5, would do again.
McConkeys lift, even during the busy season, always seems to always be easy to get on, and takes you to some of the greatest terrain Park city has to offer.v
Reach out and touch the sky...don't miss the trails or views from McConkeys. Hike the ridge and ride the chute for an outrageous experience...will it leave you breathless?
Awesome view. Even if your not a great skier, go up and take some pics. Georgeania run is a nice run down. Or go over the edge and test your skills.
McConkeys is one of my fave all time lifts. There are chutes to the left around the bowl which are amazing, but it also has a couple of blues and blacks for the rest of the family. We had a group of 12 of all different ability levels and everyone was able to find a way down they liked. I spent the majority of the three days I was there on this lift
Today McConkeys Rocked!!! Great snow under the lift and awesomness followed in the forrest.
